Qasem Soleimani, an Iranian General, was born on March 11, 1957. He was born in Qanat-e Malek, in Kerman Province, Imperial State of Iran.
He was born to Hassan Soleimani (Father) and Fatemeh Soleimani (Mother). Also, he has a brother who works as a warden in an Iraqi prison.
Immediately after he completed school, Soleimani migrated to the urban areas of Kerman. He worked as a development specialist on a construction site. His father had a huge agricultural debt.
In 1975, Qasem worked as a temporary contractor for the water organization of the city. Likewise, he focused on training his physical body in local gyms doing weight training as well.
Later, the sermons of Hojjat Kamyab taught him the ideas of revolutionary activities.
Qasem Soleimani Killed
Qasem Solemani died on January 3, 2020, at the age of 62. Though his death has been a major controversy in recent times. The American automation focused an airstrike on his convoy in Baghdad International Airport.
The missiles were fired from American drones while he was leaving his plane in Iraq. After the incident, the authorities identified his body with the help of a ring he had on his finger.
However, his DNA has not been confirmed while there were four other casualties in this attack. According to the reports, Qasem was responsible for transporting an important letter on behalf of Saudi.

Following the airstrike, the supporters from the Iraqi Shia state army pursued an assault on the American embassy located in Baghdad.
According to the U.S Department of Defense, General Qasem Soleimani had been preparing further attacks on military personnel and American diplomats.
However, the U.S. Congress did not approve the attack, and it did not consent to the government of Iraq. The entire death led to a huge diplomatic controversy for killing a leader from the Iranian military over their own airspace.

Qasem Soleimani’s brother Sohrab Soleimani was sanctioned by the United States in 2017.
