Further, she has successfully co-hosted Miss America beauty peasant in 2017 and she will continue the role in 2018. It is clear that she is a popular figure while it comes to the profession but her personal life is shaded by her career. Few are familiar with her husband or married life. Know about her married life, husband, and children

Sage Steele,44, is a happily married woman. She and her husband Jonathan Bailey,46, married in October 1999 and have been together for 17 years. Unlike Sage, Jonathan is not a popular figure and he is more like a stay at home husband. As for Jonathan profession, he is an ex-personal trainer.

There is no hiding about Sage Curly hair which is evident with Sage featuring as the face of Mixed Chicks. Her hair is not gone unnoticed at home too as she has a big admirer in her husband. Sage has a perfect partner in Jonathan with the pair blessed with a fruitful and long married life. Further, The love between the pair hasn’t aged a little bit and she is convinced there is more to come from her husband which she opened while describing a picture in a blog she wrote.

Bailey family is blessed with two daughters and a son. Daughter Quinn Bailey the eldest(15), son Nicholas Bailey(13) and youngest butterfly Evan Bailey(11). Well, Sage Steele and her husband Jonathan has a family life to envy. They are enjoying happy and healthy relationship so not a single hint of divorce.

Being a person of mixed color hasn’t been an easy journey for Sage. She is born to  African-American father and mother of Irish/Italian descent. Sage has to go through discrimination and hatred due to her mixed race and color complexion.

When she was in college she was only African-American among 2000 students. Initially, she was unknown to the fact but when she knew, it wasn’t a warm welcome. She has to go through some harsh statement and conservative thoughts. She used to be called ‘Nigger’ by white people further one of the students referred if she was a criminal.That doesn’t mean she was accepted among black people.

Well, her encounter with racism didn’t stop with her college days as she has similar circumstances during her professional career. She has to face hateful comments from black and white people, further, Many times she has been called sellout for marrying white people and having kids that look white.

“I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been called a sellout for marrying a white man and for having kids that look white.”

Sage Steele is a loving mom who prioritizes children before profession. She has her share of experience with discrimination and color. While it comes to kids she is protective as she has experienced even more hateful stares being a mixed racial parent trying to protect her children. She wrote:

“But I now know that one tends to feel the stares a bit more when YOU’RE the parent trying to protect your children from our big, ugly world.”

After the birth of her first child, she was asked if she was a Nanny while she was out carrying her children to her chest. Well, what the question was meant for but she has some witty answer her sleeve.

“Am I the NANNY? Nope. I actually carried her for 9 months and pushed her out myself!”

Loving mommy isn’t discouraged by some random people and their unwanted gaze as her kids are grown up with her children being 15,13 and 11 years of age. Further, she likes to joke about their complexion and how they look like.
