Samantha Lewes love affair to marriage
Samantha met Tom Hanks in some years in mid-70’s and soon the pair started dating. It didn’t take long for the pair to become sweethearts. At that time, they were an acting student at Sacramento State University. The passionate couple had a son Colin Lewes Dillingham, who was born on 1977 prior to their marriage. A year later in 1978 Samantha and Tom got married. The couple was very happy. They were further blessed when Samantha gave birth to Elizabeth Hanks in 1982.
Divorce with Tom Hanks
Samantha and Tom had a similar passion for acting. Like an exemplary couple, they were very close in public eyes. “I was just too young and insecure for marriage. I was 23 and my son Colin was already two when I married for the first time. I was not really ready to take on those responsibilities.”

After the divorce, Tom found his happy ever after but for Samantha she had to Juggle between work and health. Samantha constantly fell sick and she would go regularly for checkup. During one of her checkup routine, she was diagnosed with Bone Cancer. Her ex-husband Tom learned the situation in early 2001. He arranged the top bone-cancer specialist and paid the expense for treatment. However, it was too late as cancer had already spread to lungs and possibly her brain. Samantha took her last breath on March 12, 2002. The whole family was devastated.
